Is it nihilism?

I've been analyzing my personal disdain for the proposed bailout, wondering how much my nihilistic leanings are shaping my view. Apparently David Brooks of the NY Times is also seeing nihilism at work against the bailout. Nice to know I'm not alone in recognizing the influence.
