Apple's CarPlay looks great (if you don't have an iPhone dashboard mount)

Reading through criticisms about Apple’s CarPlay implementation, it seems CarPlay’s purpose is to allow iPhone access through the car’s built-in touchscreen, rather than a dashboard mount, which is what I use. Mount provides full access to my iPhone, keeps the screen out of the way yet still in sight and at hand, plus I have a remote control for music and backup Bluetooth audio. And it works in our 10 year-old, 2004 Prius.

At a doctor’s appointment and noticed my doc upgraded his notebook to an HP Elitebook 2760p. Used it in notebook mode the entire visit, but felt reassured by our shared good judgment in computer equipment.

I have so few reasons to wear this shirt.
